Shortstown Primary School is just a stone’s throw from us up the A6, so we were delighted to be selected for a variety of works at their school over the summer break. The first project was a lovely enclosed outdoor classroom, providing their pupils with an inviting space to take lessons and breaktimes outdoors all year round.
The school had developed a very specific brief, which was fun to deliver, including stable doors to the entrance.
To the rear of the shelter, the school wanted to collect water in water butts, for re-use in their Forest School area
The school also requested external storage for outdoor play and learning provisions, with the tops of the pltaforms doubling as work tables.
This shelter is truly multifunctional, with lots of useful features that the school requested – we hope they like it!
