Coleridge Primary School turned to Setter Play to install a brand new canopy, of a similar design to their old one, but with much stronger reinforcement to ensure this one didn’t suffer the same fateas the previous one which was damaged in an autumn storm.
We utilised their existing concrete slabs as the foundations for our new design, saving the school money, and designed an all-black canopy in line with their wishes.
The canopy itself utilises opal polycarbonate roofing sheets, which reflect the sun’s harmful UV rays, and has guttering at either end for orderly rainwater collection.
We love this design because it reminds us of the old Victorian railway stations in London, and we’re proud of another job well done!
