Bespoke, attractive canopies that schools will be proud of are our speciality, and have been for nearly 25 years. Our latest project at Ashwell Primary School in North Hertfordshire is no exception as it wraps around their school building and provides ample shelter and shade for some of the main thoroughfares through their school grounds.
Underfoot they loved the idea of a ‘stream’ of blue wetpour winding through the space, with patches of green and yellow to emulate fields and sands and spark their pupils’ imaginations.
At the front of their school they also opted for new tarmac surfacing leading up to their main entrance.
Curved glulam beams help create a graceful and elegant structure that really stands out. Overhead our polycarbonate roofing system helps block both the sun and rain, protecting everybody beneath it and ensuring year-round outdoor access for pupils and teachers.
Ashwell Primary School continue to return to Setter Play to improve their outdoor spaces, and for that we are hugely grateful. This canopy is a fantastic example of what Setter Play create, and we’re immensely proud of another job well done.
