Woodland Infants School in Solihull asked Setter Play to refresh their adventure trail area, which had served their school well over the years.
The school wanted to invest in a new play area that was going to provide them with more long-term value, and so they opted for a stone base beneath their rubber mulch (which is always recommended!), as well as steel feet on the log uprights, to help combat rot and weathering.
The new play area boosts their all-weather accessible space by nearly 100m2!
The equipment proposed provides the perfect challenge for fine- and gross-motor skills, as well as balance and co-ordination, to aid in their pupils’ healthy development through play.
As part of the works we also filled their sandpit with new surfacing, replacing their sand which the local foxes and cats enjoyed!
And we also extended the pathway to the play area, to provide direct access.
We’re very proud of getting this job done over the summer, ready for their pupils’ return in September!
