Wigmore Primary School in Luton asked Setter Play to create a masterplan for their entire school grounds, with the aim of completing it over a number of years.
They selected phase 1 to be a refresh of their soft-play area in the KS1 playground, which had a few pieces of old climbing and trail equipment on it.
We developed the ‘Double Dinosaur Nest’ climber especially for the space, complemented by two adventure trails at either side, which curved around and add more room for their pupils to play.
We overlayed the old surface with a new layer of wetpour rubber, complete with an angular, colourful design for some impact.
Double Dinosaur Nest provides a huge free-from space for Wigmore’s pupils to explore in any direction they choose.
Wigmore Primary have just booked in their phase 2 in the Key Stage 2 playground, as they were so pleased with the result of this design.
We’re really proud of this impactful and impressive play space, and pleased to have worked with another local school.
